Questions about Planner

What should I try first?+

Start by moving a block on the grid, then switch views. The point of Planner is that the same live schedule can be edited, reviewed, and shared without rebuilding it in another format.

Is this the same grid teams use in Planner?+

Yes. The demo uses the same production schedule structure: blocks, stages, dates, categories, view controls, and the guided tour pattern from the app.

Can I use Planner if my team still works from spreadsheets?+

Yes. Most teams start there. Planner gives you the speed of a grid, but keeps the schedule structured so you are not managing separate spreadsheet versions, exports, and working copies.

What happens when I hit Get Started?+

You will be taken into the app to create your own schedule. You can start from a blank plan or use Planner as the shared place to build out the production properly.

Can crew or clients view a schedule without editing it?+

Yes. Planner is built for controlled sharing. People who only need to read the latest schedule can be given viewer access instead of being pulled into the editing workflow.
