Report panel is live

Reports should not require a file export just to answer a quick production question.

If you want to know what is in the current view, how many blocks are visible, which stages are active, or what the finance total looks like, that context should already be sitting beside the schedule.

The new Report panel is built for that.

What ships in this release

• Open a Report panel from the same right-hand rail as Comments and Key dates.
• See a live roll-up of the current filtered view instead of the full project by default.
• Scan overview totals for visible blocks, schedule span, notes, key dates, and deadline pressure.
• Review stage grouping and a visible block list without exporting first.
• See finance totals, allocated days, crew rows, and time totals when money access is enabled.
• Collapse sections you do not need so the panel stays usable in longer schedules.
• Open the panel quickly with the `R` shortcut or from the Help menu.

Why this matters

Exports still matter when you need a handoff.

But a lot of report questions happen mid-review, mid-call, or mid-edit. How big is this slice? What is left in conform? How much work is visible in this filtered range? Do we have notes scattered through this cut?

Before this, the answer often meant opening export, generating a file, then coming back to the schedule.

Now the schedule can answer those questions in place.

Built to match the rest of the right rail

The Report panel uses the same shell as Comments and Key dates.

That means the same width, the same motion on and off, and the same quick switch behavior when you jump between panels. If you open Report, then flip back to Comments, the rail behaves exactly the way the project page already does.

Finance stays permission-aware

Report is available to everyone who can open the project.

Finance is not.

If someone does not already have money visibility, the finance section stays hidden. The panel still gives them the operational roll-up without exposing budget detail.

Read the schedule. Keep moving.

Report gives production teams a faster way to inspect the current plan without stepping out into a file first.

Open it during reviews. Collapse what you do not need. Switch back to comments or key dates when the conversation changes. The schedule stays live the whole time.
